Introduction

Hi,

My name is mark and I recently purchased a second hand MGF 1.8i. Really pleased with this little car. It has 49k on ther clock after several years of driving but I decided to get the cam belt changed as a priority. Looked at the old one and it looked good..but you never know with these. The car has a FSH and 2 previous owners. It has been reasonably looked after by its previous 2 lady drivers. Some little bits to sort out here and there. I have noted that the gear change isn't that smooth, however after a long enough drive seems to be ok. Thought I might check oil level and maybe look at cable or linkage system. Runs really well apart from this.
Picture of 'Madge' added.
Looking forward to summer when I can get out in her a bit more!!!
