New Venue for July monthly meeting.....

Recent attendance at monthly meet over at the Fox has been a little thin to say the least, and there have been some comments on this site about the venue, so I am proposing changing the venue this month on the 17th July to the Tudor Rose on the A540. It is at the junction of the A540 and the A550 from North Wales. The venue has a large car park and serves a reasonable beer. I am open to suggestions about the future for the venue, whether we make this a permanant change, if we use a different venue each month or maybe a future return to the Fox for August. Somehow it seems a shame that we are fixed in one monthly venue when there are so many great venues in the region, although I can see the advantages of having a fixed monthly base.

A reminder that we are not at the Fox for this month's meeting but at the Tudor Rose on the Wirral..Parkgate Road, Ledsham, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, CH66 9PD. It is the main A540 Chester to Hoylake road......see you there!!

The next meeting is going to be August 21st, but I will not be able to get there as I am away in Belgium on the Rodenbach tour (Beer and chocolate factories....I am dreading it already...ha ha !!) However, please feel free to go ahead with it in my absence, but please can we make some decisions as to which of the venues would we prefer. Do we want to make a return to the Stretton Fox, or do we want a change and come over to the Tudor Rose? Please make your views known by a post, my own feeling is that we should return to the Fox, as it is more central for a regional meeting.
