What Happened

Post by PHLEB » Wed Dec 05, 2007 11:09 pm

Been dying to ask this for a while but what did happen?

OK the NWesters did their own thing around the same time as the forum changed format - but its all but dead on here these days - looking at the postings the NW has an average of a post/answer about every 2-3 days :?

Whats that all about or have most put the babies in the garage for the winter - so not a lot to talk about?

I'Z got more shiny shiny bits too!! and more on the way :D :D

i have been wondering the same.....still looking for more to come to Xmas night out next week (Friday). I was down at the Doghouse on Sunday for the Register Xmas dinner with about 100 others including a delegation from Holland. The new calendar is out but we dont have any NW cars in it this year so we need to make more effort in 2009....who knows we might even print our own!!

Things are looking up on the 'Bavarian Sierra' front Gareth..

HG checked out Ok, 4 new tyres cured 90% of the rear end whining, so we have had nearly 2-weeks of trouble free motoring which is a bit of a record!.. :D

Just got to cure the horendous squeaking noise from both front windows and you could almost say it's a decent car......... I did say "Almost" though!!.. ;)

Have a good one if we don't see you before!.. :xmas:

I very rarely come on here anyway cos it's so dead, always has been :?

if i need an answer to anythin i post elsewhere cos i know i won't need to wait 2-3 days, I did mention before i started posting how dead it was on here but was asked to post anyway so i did but it's still dead :( plus tbh i hate the theme of these forums too, way way way too bright and much harder to read than most i go on, they need more themes to choose from and make these forums stand out a bit. I can't believe i've been away from these forums for quite a while and when i look today there are only 4 threads to read through :?

Maybe a new yr resolution, post more on here, but if you want the NW section to be busy it's gonna take everyone to start postin and not just the select few

anyway, Merry Christmas everyone ;) :santasack: :xmas:

Chrome stripes will go on in the spring - But I purchased a gaiter/ring from flea bay with the idea of - you guessed it - Chroming it. Took it in yesterday and collect it on Tuesday - for a fraction of the price the MGF centre wanted for the same will post a pic when its on

I bought one of those to strip it myself and polish it with autosol.
What did mg put that silver coating on with it wouldn,t even sand off!!!
If they made the head gaskets as good we would all be happier.
Mine ended up in the wheelie bin.
Sure it will look cool fitted i should have done mine properly. :xmas: :xmas:
