The MGF Kempenrit is postponed by 1 year and will happen on July 4th 2021.

It will be again 5 years since we did the MGF Kempenrit revival, so we are planning another one in 2020.
We've got the date, some new ideas and a venue (Lier, Belgium) but official communication still needs to start.
Please mark that weekend in your agenda's as you are all invited !!

"35 Cars entered" . Not bad 6 months before the event
Unfortunately not a lot of success on the French forum "MG contact.eu": https://www2.mgcontact.eu/phpBB2/viewto ... 49&t=35992 136 views but none question or reaction. French people do not leave gladly their country; especially when they fear having to speak another language ! ! !

A large number of The Kempenrit events used to have a twinned event called "The day Before" Some people from Flanders and an occasional Dutchman accompanied a convoy of British MGF's and TF's.
Just across the Belgian border at exit 3 of the motorway along the coast we all teamed up and formed smaller groups to accompany our foreign guest for a safe and pleasant tour to a hotel in the area (Mechelen). After a good meal, a Belgian beer or two, all fresh and ready we continued to do the Kempenrit tour on the next day.

I've joint "The Day Before"on all occasions together with Luc, who was responsible for the route and location for a lunch stop. One of our goals was to familiarise people who usually drive on the other side of the road to drive abroad. In the top year we had about 45 cars in the whole convoy.

I know both Luc and I will be eager to support people who want to come over with a group this for the oncoming Kempenrit.

I'm planning to come over Saturday, stopping locally Saturday and Sunday night and driving straight back home in south Wales on Monday.

They were indeed, we've enjoyed a few Kempenrits & TdLs in the past, I think we had the best years, we haven't been to the Campanile in Loon Plage which was usually the meeting point for us, for many a year
