In 2011 I brought my 1996 MGF to the MG Meet in Reno, Nevada.

After the meet was over I stayed for a couple of days as Jay had a show at the casino we were staying at in Reno. I also went to a Jaguar show on the Saturday with the F hoping Jay might show up!

But, no sign of Jay and my F's chance of the spotlight faded!!

I have the F in San Francisco, so, Jay if you are following this thread give me a ring and I'll take you or a spin

A couple of years ago Jay flew into Vancouver to do a show and was ambushed by members of our local hot-rod club. They lined their cars up along the road to the executive jet terminal. When his car passed he got the driver to stop and spent a half hour chatting with the club members and looking over their cars. By all accounts he is a great guy and a real enthusiast.
