Tulip Run Sunday 16th September

Simon - thank you so much for organising a super day out with us meeting at the bistro on the river for a 5 star bacon baguette followed by our tulip run through the countryside which is "for ever England", finishing at a delightful Motor Museum in Calne and refreshments at a local hostelry. All the above seconded, plus great selection of bikes (motor and push) at the Bistro plus gin palaces on the river and the most random collection of cars I have ever seen in the museum at Calne. I resisted buying the half prepared TR7 rolling shell which seems to be an abandoned project there which they casuall mentioned was for sale
I met the owner of the rally prepared BGT who is going to be at Blenheim, and we also had the company of a very nicely turned out black softop MGB at Benson
