Christmas Meal in Jan 2013!!!

Hi All

Sorry for the delay in this post following our last meet.

It was widely agreed with those who attended that our christmas meal 2012 should be in Jan 2013. Odd I know and we will have to miss out on another feast of turkey and sprouts..... never mind i am sure we will live!!

January seemed a good idea as when diaries were consulted there didnt seem a good date for everyone in December and those that were, were too close to christmas itself.

The date chosen was Jan 13th 2013 which is a Sunday. Venue and times to be confirmed but if i can have an idea of who wants to be there i can get somthing booked and come back to you with costs etc. Im rather hoping subject to weather that prior to any meal we can start the new year off with a gentle run, so get those battery chargers at the ready!!

Anyway please let me know so we can get things organised. If anyone is new to the register and lives in our region please dont forget to make contact so we can welcome you along to any local events we have. 2013 should be a good year for the Thames Valley Region

That works for us Rob, amd I will see if Ems wants to come along as I expect if it isnt the Cunning Man it will be in that area. It will be very welcome when all the festive hoopla is over and the statements are arriving

Sorry for not coming back sooner but with the lurgy in our house mostly confined to Mel and Di I just haven't had the time to get onto the forum. Can you all confirm those that would like to attend the Xmas meal on Sunday 13th this month, I know this is a pain but I haven't spoken with anyone for over a month. In the meantime, John, I hope the arm is healing just nicely.

It goes without saying that any new members from this region would be welcome to join us and start the new year as they mean to go on!

Anyway please confirm regarding the 13th with a yes or no and numbers. Thanks and a happy new year once again.
