Re: When is the next meeting?
Hi Rob, Haven't seen Ken on here for a while and do not have any way to contact him (hope he is ok).
How about an unofficial meet (until Ken turns up) at the same place on the 3rd or 10th Sept

Re: When is the next meeting?
Hi folks, I'm still around but have been pretty crap over the last few weeks, all to do with ongoing health probs that are not going to get any better unfortunately.
Firstly, many, many thanks to Gary and Cath for sorting out the next date. I am working but finish at 7.30pm, so I will pop in on the way home.
Secondly, due to the health things and the running out of the road tax yesterday, the F has been taken over to a friends place in Colindale (she has a J2 Midget and is the grand-daughter of the late Eric Tieche, so she is very MG friendly) to slumber for a while whilst I figure out what to do.
The drive over to Colindale was not very pleasant (nothing to do with the car, just me), it was uncomfortable and painful. I would hate to get rid of her but I need to do some serious thinking.
Anyway, am looking forward to a pint of shandy on Weds.
Until then, keep the top down and ride happy.
Ken

Re: When is the next meeting?
Hi Ken its was good to see you last night, hope your feeling better soon .
Ohh and thanks letting me drive your new project, as you could tell from the stupid grin on my face it was great fun
Ken is it ok to schedule the next meet for the Tuesday 1st October?
John, despite Cath not wanting to many blingy bits on her F , I think some chrome window trim may be on order soon (she loved the look on your TF )
It was good to meet Dave & Ann (great MGF, love the interior ).
Stuart, speak to you soon about the spoiler
It was a small gathering but very enjoyable, food was good too . Hopefully it will grow as time goes on
Hope to see you all again soon

Re: When is the next meeting? Tue 1st October.
Thanks for popping over everyone, good to see some familiar and some new faces.
All in all some lovely MG's and a good chance to natter and admire.
Dave and Ann, you car is simply lovely and being a sucker for a nice interior I was in my element. John, like Cath, I think some chrome trim is on the books. See what you have started now?
It was great to see how much everyone seemed to like the Amazon. Gary, I thought your face was going to split given the width of that grin! I will wash it on Saturday as I hope to visit the address of the chap who bought the car as a 50th birthday treat to himself in 1970. It's in Hatfield. A very posh part of Hatfield.
No worries Rob, you had family commitments, we won't hold that against you.
So, all being well......... Tuesday 1st October it is.
Let's see who has their tops down then eh?
All the best.
