Leics/Notts/Derbys pub meet. Tues 10th September

Hi All,

Since there is nothing really set up for the Leicester/Nottingham/Derby border I thought I would sound things out and see if there is enough interest to set something up.

There are plenty of pubs around that area that we could use, I've previously arranged pub meets at the Clock Warehouse in Shardlow (although this was a few years ago) and it was always pretty good. Nice place, big car park, reasonable pub fodder at a reasonable price.

How about something around the second week of September, Tuesday 10th or Wednesday 11th maybe?

EDIT: Let's got for the Tuesday 10th. fingers crossed you can all make it.

Would be great to get a little group together before the winter sets in and all our pride and joys get tucked away until spring.

I still remember that great weekend around Chatsworth (2005 if I remember correct), do that again and we'll be there .

Not sure the family commitments will run to sorting out runs etc. But I'm sure I can manage the odd pub meet.

A local pub meet would be a good start for the area

If you get some interest Phil, you might even get gate crashed by some of the HoE group to help fill up the pub a little

Hi Chris, It would be great to see you. I think I've made a boob with the dates though, as I was intending on doing a Tuesday/Wednesday thing, so must have totally misread the calendar. Would you be free on either of these days (10th or 11th). Sorry, not off to the greatest of starts!;-)

We were thinking of coming if it had been on the Wednesday, but are unable to make the Tuesday that week. Perhaps next time! If fixing future dates, generally Tuesdays would be better for us - just not this time. Nice to see something a bit closer to home even if we can't make it this time.
