Phil. Chatting to a few members on Saturday at the Coventry Transport Festival, you might get a few more cars yet as they were all very local to the pub and all with F/TFs even though they were in MGBs and other interesting MGs at the weekend. They were interested in setting up a local meeting and were pleased to hear there was one just a few weeks away. Not seen them yet registered on here yet but they seemed interested, so hopefully they will follow through.

Well As the numbers have gone up I've spoken to the Clock Warehouse and they have kindly agreed to book out the Conservatory for us. It seats about 25 so should be plenty of room.

Thanks all for the support here, really looking forward to getting this up and running and to meeting most of you for the first time!

Cheers

Gentle Bump ;-)

Still time to get your name down for this (although you can just turn up if you like, but the list helps us arrange things with the pub!)

Brilliant turn out tonight, thanks to all that came for making it a very enjoyable evening.

Look forward to seeing you all again next month. :thumbsu:

Keep an eye out for a new regional section for the "East Midlands" soon.

I'll get some pictures up tomorrow if I can, but they need a bit of editing as I under exposed half of them!

Thanks for organising this event, my first attended.
Good to see all those MGF and TF lined up, just a shame the alignment was a little out, LOL
Hope to meet you all again at the next event.

So it turns out that I get some free web hosting with Virgin, handy for posting photos :thumbsu:

So here are my pics, some are a bit blurry bit in my defense it was basically dark and I didn't take a flash with me.

Well folks, thanks to all the wonderful support (and a little coercion from Keith) I'm now the Regional Representative for the newly created East Midlands Region of the MGF Register. James has been busy and set up a section in the regional forums for us here >> viewforum.php?f=67 and I can now be contacted via email as well (see sig).

So hopefully you will all be able to make it to future events and please keep an eye on/contribute to the discussions in the regional forum.

Thank you again for the support on Tuesday.

Regards and Safety Fast

Phil

Sorry I didn’t make it on Tuesday, I was having my leg sorted out at hospital after two insect bites led to a very bad allergic reaction.
