Started stipping the front and rear passenger brake, Will need to make up a new rear metal brake pipe as rear lookes pretty dodgy.
Re drilled and tapped a snapped off disc screw in rear hub as one was already snapped off.
Left the front upper brake pipe connections soaking in penetrating spray as looked pretty dry and tight.
Also went on ebay to source new hand brake cable clips but none available so replacing with stainless eclips instead.
All main caliper bolts are pretty worn too, checked on ebay and it turns out freelander caliper bolts are exactly the same and half the price

May or may not have fixed the heated seats. Found one problem with the loom, it wasn't plugged in! Not sure if that worked though as they didn't seem to heat up much even when I connected them up. Fuses look ok so it'll be out with the multi meter next weekend.

Fitted the stainless roof catch and sun visor fasteners, wiped the car over with a chamois leather, changed the oil and filter, spotted it had already been fitted with stainless coolant pipes, took some pictures and obtained an MOT. A pretty good day really. Oh, and had a better tyre fitted. Just waiting for the MG tyre dust caps

Does opening a pack of MG dustcaps count? How about cleaning a tonneau cover? Ok then, putting together a bag of MGF cleaning materials in readiness for tomorrow? These must count for something, surely.

It wouldn't start today. Not just that it wouldn't start, there was no flicker of any life in the battery. Absolutely 100% totally flat. No bonnet or boot lights, clock stopped, no alarm LED etc etc - but then it hasn't been out for about four or five weeks and that was the only time since Donington at the beginning of October.
Never mind, jump started it and drove it back home (it's garaged a couple of miles away) and it's warm and cosy in the garage on charge at the moment, which is how I shall leave it for a few days

Looked longingly at mine not daring to move it until I have to take it for the new thermostat next weekend.

Took it for a 100 mile blast today to visit friends in Kent. Started first time, warmed up quick- never missed a beat so I treated it to a wash n' wax for being a good lad
That's what MG ownership should be about ay?

Replaced the headlining in my hardtop -
http://mgf.ultimatemg.com/group2/DIY/in ... lining.htm and fitted the hardtop to the car
The rear screen of the softtop has a split, and I have a replacement to fit - a job for spring I think!

lastnight I removed the cat from on top of the roof after the cat was shut in the garage, I now have a ginger fluffy soft top with mucky paw mark bonnet decals.

Managed to get 30 mins and washed my F
Ordered a Jay lad servo bracket and a snorkel heater duct. Also got some citreon mist washers to fit and a new lambda and brown sensor. Now just to find a LQW drivers wing, spoiler and a trophy front spoiler for cheap.
