Stocking filler

Post by Charless » Sat Dec 14, 2013 12:56 pm

I bought one of these:

Yes its a plug in voltmeter and it works.
It arrived today posted from China and so far it is great!
It was described as :
LCD Cigarette Lighter Voltage Digital Panel Meter Volt Voltmeter Monitor Car By BuyinCoins
Condition: New
Sold by United-Mall
On Amazon - but I can't find it again - for £2.06 (including postage from China) I am well pleased!

Charles/Mark, many thanks for the info, have ordered one as I hope it will help me with a mysterious voltage drop on my "other" car.

What a cracking idea...

Got one coming...
Do not invert, contents liable to spill.

I've ordered one too, thanks.
Sometimes I don't use my TF for a few days especially when I'm off work as I use the Audi (when the missus isn't using it)! I know that my voltage drops considerably so this is ideal for a quick check up. Just need something that stops my front brakes sticking now!

Mine came today so tried it straight away and worryingly only got this result despite my battery being on charge for a few hours yesterday afternoon.

EDIT:

It actually shows 13.7v when running.
