Christmas Eve

Post by Db09 » Sat Feb 07, 2015 10:46 pm

It feels like Christmas Eve in our house .
Our new mgf arrives tomorrow afternoon . Diane is up in derby till late tomorrow so I get a chance to play before she gets home . Only thing that's hard is giving the f a name but one will come . It is going to college motors in a couple of weeks for a check over .
It's half term the week after next planning a few runs out in the f . Swanage , western supermere and Pembrokeshire are on the cards .
Shame I've got work on Monday or I would be spending the whole day cleaning and polishing the f . Seems daft but from tomorrow we will have a volvo 850 big car for everyday use .The mgf for fun days and my ducati for my time .

Well that was a good day . Red leather seats gone to a good home . Our new f now on drive only here for half an hour then washed it took out cream leather headrests and already cleaned and fed one of them found mg badge embossed in front of it looks good (I know I'm sad) .
Looks different to mo to have a red mgf on drive just going to make a start reading the history of the red f got a file full of info good reading .

We have named the f George after garages as mo was named after Morris I know that some say mg does not stand for Morris garages but it will do for me .

ah yes the 750ss .. nice :)

I have a gear driven v engine, but it's a black bike .. I suspect you can guess which one.. 1999

been a costly year for it, with a full strip down, bearings, exhaust replaced, forks rebuilt.. but it should carry on a bit longer :)
