My MGF (N7 RMB) is now 20 years old, and it happily cruised through its MoT yesterday (they replaced a brake light - I suspect that the bulb connector was slightly oxidised rather than an actual failure).
Really really happy!

Good stuff! Here's to the next 20 years!
Hopefully they'll be highly collectable and worth an absolute fortune by then....that'd be nice ay?

Just goes to show that these cars are a lot more reliable than made out, if looked after.
I'm on 120k & counting!

Just think, if we can just keep them going for another 20 years we wont have to pay road tax . . .

and we are sure the regulations won't be changed in 20 years time.
I woudn't be surprised if 'oldtimers' would pay double in 2036.

You're the sort of people who make buying a new car worth it, and the longer you keep it the more so.

I could imagine that some previous long time owners even add value to the car as they became so known in the scene.
