Possible Pre-production press car being broken?
Currently on ebay, ref.no. 325545864972, is a green N-reg F being broken, terrible condition, the rear number plate is N810***, the suffix is blanked out but it looks suspiciously like SVC. Apparently N810SVC was indeed green, possibly a sad end to one of the SVC cars?

There may not be a huge amount of car left by now - but worth contacting the vendor?

DVLA have N810SVC on a SORN, but there is absolutely no MOT history for the car, so it must have been off the road for a very long time. As you say, impossible to tell whether this is the same vehicle from the pictures - and sadly, the one clue that might strengthen its identity as an early press car, the calibration of the oil temperature gauge, is not visible on the low-res photos that have been uploaded.
I gave into temptation - I have emailed the vendor!

And if it was N810SVC, then it was a press car, because you can see it in the "competitors" panel on this road test of the Lotus Elise in EVO - http://hazelnet.org/brochures/roadtests ... 20111s.pdf
