Splashing about in Constable Country

Post by adrianclifford » Mon Aug 13, 2012 9:24 pm

On our Sunday Pub lunch this weekend, Mike got my interest when he said there was a water splash on the way to Flatford Mill (as in Constable's famous Hay Wain painting. So Dawn and I set off first to wait.......and the MG's didn't disappoint :

Mike and Marion first.

Followed by Andy and Emma (nice to see Scarlet out and about again) :

A great day had by all I think. Who went through the water the fastest ??

Very nice pictures. Brings memories back to me (I think it was 2008, in Sedan)

That's the picture Bruno, I thought it was Sedan. This time I chose to stay further back because it was so sunny and the background was pretty, I wanted to focus on the wider view rather than the car, next time I'll do some close ups as a comparison.

Maybe we can find some water in Germany next month ?

I guess Dawn was driving, so we all know who was the fatest fastest (or was Michael Phelps there too).

No actually I was. I went through carefully to check it was OK for the others, then parked up after the water. We then sat and waited for the cars to come through, she wasn't going too close in case she got wet
