Hi all,
What's differences are there between a normal mgf fully loaded with optional extras and the 75th anniversary or any special edition models.

A very useful guide, when looking at a vehicle you need to watch out for a PO chopping and changing parts which can give a different appearance.

I always think if you own it you can do what you like................as long as it's legal

Andy, details of all the models, both normal and SE/LE have or will be covered in our magazine FasTForward. There's one or more in every issue.

In the long term, you may affect the value of the SE by modification - but if the modifications are reversible, or to parts that need replacing anyway (exhausts, brake pads etc), then no biggie

When it comes to LEs, SEs and other Specials, it is a simple case that MGR had a load of options which nobody bought on top of the Basic Model which was expensive. In order to get rid of these parts, MGR made Packages and called them multiple LEs ans SEs.
When the MG Midget ws introduced, the New Healey Sprite was £200 cheaper that the MG Midget which had 4 chrome strips and an MG Badge extra. We kept the family MK 1 Sprite.

I've kept the originals of any parts I've replaced so can easily revert back to standard if needed.
Apart from the back box...that was knackered.
That's what I told the wife anyway!
