I've recently had new Hydragas spheres fitted by Dawn and Ian Kennedy which are all fine but the ride height is factory set and is too high, looks weird.
I have measured it to check but it just doesn't look good.
I need to lower it but don't really want to remove fluid as it's all just been done.
Has anyone used these lowering pins below and does fitting involve depressurising the system anyway?
http://www.mgfcentre.com/store/performa ... -pins.html
Or is there better/easier ways to do it?
Any advice would be most welcome.

Rule 1 - Is that you need to think very carefully before posting anything technical or asking anything technical relating to the security system of the car - See 'Security Issues' sticky for more info.
Rule 2 - We (MGF Register) do not support copyright infringement and therefore references to CD ROM, PDF versions or paper copies of the workshop manual (for instance) should not be posted on the forum. We don't want to get into trouble and we'd rather sell you a genuine hard copy through our Regalia shop anyway!

Re: Lowering an MGF
365mm ride height does look comically high - there aren't many MGFs with the correct setting these days!
Yes, there are more ways than one to lower the car. One is the pins - which Mike Satur/ Brown and Gammons initiated 20 years ago. Another is to let out fluid pressure (not ideal, and you'll lose the ride quality you've just paid to restore!) The easiest way, I think, is the "Techspeed" method, where you cut down the displacer cone 3 or 4mm... you can read about this here: http://mgf.ultimatemg.com/group2/suspen ... wering.htm and http://mgf.ultimatemg.com/group2/DIY/su ... /index.htm
