You have a PM & email Bill. The email will give you a quick fix around the issue. A slot is booked for you on the rolling road, we just need the deposit via a more direct route as suggested in the email, and we will correct the issue of non Channel Islands on our shop when we can.willyphixitt wrote:Hi Keith, I'm unable to register as Jersey or the Channel Islands are not recognised, so cannot make the deposit for the RR gang.
What do I do?
I've been in touch with Mark re payment on the day. No problems there.
I'm all booked up to come over from Jersey.

Not many rules really, this board being aimed at technical issues, it shouldn't fall foul (hopefully) of some of the more personal issues that can affect forums.
Rule 1 - Is that you need to think very carefully before posting anything technical or asking anything technical relating to the security system of the car - See 'Security Issues' sticky for more info.
Rule 2 - We (MGF Register) do not support copyright infringement and therefore references to CD ROM, PDF versions or paper copies of the workshop manual (for instance) should not be posted on the forum. We don't want to get into trouble and we'd rather sell you a genuine hard copy through our Regalia shop anyway!![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)
Because advice is honestly and freely given in this technical section, much of it will be amateur experienced based, so any information is given in good faith and is not guaranteed as correct.

As far as I know your TF is OK for a remap.Softly~Softly wrote:Rob help !
I have a 2003 TF135 is that a mems 3 ?
Do the deposits cover just having a remap ?
Sorry to be a pain
The deposits are only for the rolling road part of the day. All remaps need to be organised and paid for direct with Mark at Z&F.

Hi Keith,
Thanks for your help. I've sent the deposit via the method you suggested. All done and dusted.
Looking forward to the day and meeting like-minded petrolheads.
Regards.

Hi Rob,
What time are we kicking off on Saturday? It is about an hour and half drive for me so need to know what time to set the alarm for.

Re: Rolling Road and Z&F MEMS3 re-tune Day?
I'll confirm with Bernie, but I reckon on a kick off time of around 10.
I'll get the list of participants off Keith, but we're rapidly approaching the day (THIS SATURDAY!!!!) so do get in touch and get deposits paid ASAP![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)
Can't wait: it's not often one can get the car RR tested, remapped and then retested!!!
Project Shed still not registered, but if I can find a trailer in time, I might still bring it![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)
See you all soon!

Looking forward to the trip. I hope Condor don't pull a fast one and cancel the Friday sailing. I will be very p**sed off if they do. They've been having engine troubles again on the fast ferries.
Rob -I'll bring a heater fan ecu over with me for you to see. Not had much time re the writing up a self-build article.
Stopping in Southampton on the Friday night and will leave around 7.00am and have brekky en route.
Bill and Jacqueline Nixson

Re: Rolling Road and Z&F MEMS3 re-tune Day?
I'm afraid we're going to have to pull out. The Metro's not up to a long trip yet, although (fingers crossed) I've resolved the starting issues ~ new starter, coil and relay fitted, but haven't had chance to test it on a trip longer than a few miles so far.

No worries Bill - and fingers crossed for the ferry!
Look forward to seeing the ECU - a very nice bit of tech that ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)
Nigel - good to hear that you've made great progress with the Metro! Sorry not to see it though
Hopefully soon? They've become rare beasts all of a sudden ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif)
I'll get the attendance list updated. I think we'll have some spare slots for anyone who is interested but not yet signed up. I shall probably need to open this up to other forums...

Re: Rolling Road and Z&F MEMS3 re-tune Day?
Hi Chaps,
Mark will be along at 11.00, the RR will start from 09.30-10.00 although Bernie will be there from earlier in the morning, so if you turn up early, Bernie has promised to put the kettle on for a decent brew!![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)
Starting from an earlier "interested" list:
1. Rob - MGF Lotus135 cams, 4-2-1 manifold MEMS1.9 (Project Shed)
2. Hainsie - MGF 1.8i - MEMS1.9
3. Adrian - TF80LE MEMS3 - already remapped by Mark
4. MaddAussie - TF160 - MEMS3 - ?retune
5. Stuart - TF160 - MEMS3 - retune
6. Nigel - MG Metro 1300 - it's got carbs and a distributer mate!
7. c5aliveKarl - TF135 - MEMS3 - ?retune
8. MaddAussie's mate - something noisy, and probably powered by petrol.
9. Paul (Bigfootmgf) - MGF 1.8i - MEMS1.9
10. Martin C - MGF VVC - MEMS2J
11. Colin - TF160 - MEMS3 - retune
12. Ian - MY2000 MGF VVC - MEMS3 - retune
13. AndyWatson - MGF ?engine/management
The list so far for those who've paid up deposits:
1. Andy Watson
2. Paul Bridgman
3. Mark Catterall
4. Martin Charles
5. Stuart Selfe
6. Ian Fleming
7. Bill Nixson
8. Cliff Sutcliff
9. Rob Bell MGF 1.8i MEMS1.9
Only one remap organized for Bill so far - I thought there would be more? I'm a bit worried now that we'll have poor Mark down without sufficient work for him to justify his time![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif)
Let me know to update the list - I'll be opening up the day to other forums from now![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)
