Rolling Road and Z&F MEMS3 re-tune Day?

Forum rules
Not many rules really, this board being aimed at technical issues, it shouldn't fall foul (hopefully) of some of the more personal issues that can affect forums.
Rule 1 - Is that you need to think very carefully before posting anything technical or asking anything technical relating to the security system of the car - See 'Security Issues' sticky for more info.
Rule 2 - We (MGF Register) do not support copyright infringement and therefore references to CD ROM, PDF versions or paper copies of the workshop manual (for instance) should not be posted on the forum. We don't want to get into trouble and we'd rather sell you a genuine hard copy through our Regalia shop anyway!
Because advice is honestly and freely given in this technical section, much of it will be amateur experienced based, so any information is given in good faith and is not guaranteed as correct.

I already have a Z&F remap but if Mark can tweak it then that sounds good, depending on cost as the cars cost me an arm and a leg at the moment.

Re: Rolling Road and Z&F MEMS3 re-tune Day?
HI Rob
Mine has an Emerald K3, just mapped by Dave Walker last week, three maps on, power, economy and MoT. Last one to try and get emmissions through, fine on high revs but no hope on tickover. Problem is MS sports cat on the Daytona system with MS four branch. Had to go to standard cat to get through and that will be coming off for the new bypass pipe I have here.
But still keen to come along and meet up with everybody if date suits the diary.

Busy this weekeend, I hope, as off to Abingdon tomorrow for MGoT AGM & committee, then overnight at Silverstone hopefully for GP circuit day Monday.
However if you want speak then PM me and I'll send you my mobile number. Otherwise bash away on the keyboard via the forum and I'll try and answer your questions. I've only had the car since October and I'm trying to learn my round it at the moment.
Cheers,
Martin

Re: Rolling Road and Z&F MEMS3 re-tune Day?
Hi Rob,
I would be very interested in coming to this RR event. I've already had to cancel 3 times last year to meet up with Mark at Z & F for reprogramming, so it would be nice to do an RR experience as well.
Maybe there's another event/club meet that weekend that my wife Jacqueline and I can attend. We would love to meet up with some of you that frequent this forum. That would be great as it's quite expensive to get off this island (Jersey) via Condor Ferries.
If I can't make the date once it's announced, I'll be over for the Festival of Speed when I can hopefully meet up with Mark.
Cheers.

Okay Bill, will let you know.
I'll give Bernie a bit of nudge - haven't had any dates back from him yet.

Not too urgent Martin, may catch up at the rolling road day or Castle Combe MGoT. Juts wanted to pick your brains on the ECU frontMartin C wrote:Hi Steve,Hainsie wrote:Rob, can you update my details to VVC MEMS2J.

Re: Rolling Road and Z&F MEMS3 re-tune Day?
Hi Rob,
Checking my diary, which I should have done prior to my first posting on this subject, I won't be able to come on the 27th April, the bank holiday weekend starting 4th May (Jersey Spring Rally) and finally 11th May. Hopefully a date avoiding these can be made.
As Mark (Z & F) will be there it would be nice to do a RR before and after the remapping of my TF135.
