The first two are VVCs - only 74(? from memory) ever made - and both look in superb condition bodywork wise.

Re: Volcano Orange 'F for sale (not by me)
How funny so many of these seemingly rare cars emerge into the market at the same time. There’s even one of them up for sale just round the corner from where I live. Also very low mileage at 41,000 kms and only one owner. But with a German price tag, although it says “or near offer” in the ad: http://kleinanzeigen.ebay.de/anzeigen/s ... 8-216-2064

I wonder if this number is for "worldwide" production or just the UK. There are at least 3 Volcano VVC's in Canada.Charless wrote:The first two are VVCs - only 74(? from memory) ever made - and both look in superb condition bodywork wise.

The production figures I know of state 448 made in total for worldwide markets, 244 MPi, 168 VVC and 36 in Abingdon SE specs, thla latter not being differenciated between MPi and VVC.

Iirc the bright pack (bling things like door handles, handbrake button and ashtray) and full leather seats with an MG logo in the headrest. And 16" alloys with six rounded spokes. At least that’s how they came over here, but in Germany they were only available in brooklands green and with tan hood and dark tan interior. And the whole woody stuff, you know, like us Germans expect a British sports car to look like
