Wow! X-Power green! They look superb Nigel - you must be delighted! Yes, I am sure that there is a market for these. Looking forward to seeing the pictures of them in your car
I have to ask the vulgar question: how much?

Hi Geoff
Good question... the labels show compliance with ADR4 (Australian Design Rule 4) which relates specifically to the belt component of a seatbelt system.... harmonized into EU regs in 1998

Hi, Nigel.
I'd be interested in a royal blue pair if you get to the stage of making this a viable proposition.

As you can see - there will be quite a few colours!

ooooooo harsh
![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
Methinks holographic / chameleon seatbelts are little beyond the traditional weaver so far
The same green as mine would prob
![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
bly go well though, as the mine colour in the shot silk is a similar green!

Well I must say that your green ones do look the business! Very smart.
I'll have to have a think about it as I'm buying roll hoops and a windstop in a fortnight's time which aren't cheap. Watch this space ...

Nigel, do you think they could use the webbing I already have together with the pair of seat belts that is also waiting to be dealt with in my basement? I'm asking as I was able to obtain 10 metres of aviation grade webbing in chocolate brown, which would be the icing on the cake on Lilibets wood-and-tan-leather interior.
Also it would be nice if the E-mark tag could accidentally be re-sewn to the chocolate replacements. I'm afraid a German TÜV engineer won't understand Australian ...

Are the springs etc all replaced? My drivers seatbelt does not retract very well and orange would match my cars paint.

Well, finally managed to fit the belts! (Apologies for TERRIBLE pics - I just managed to beat the sunset - I NEED A GARAGE!!!)
First things first... the greens dont match my bespoke seats (The flash makes it look worse due to dusk), but I was kind of expecting that. Fitting was easy although you do get a few "Why arent they unwinding" moments as you are fitting
May end up trying another colour later on for kicks.
NOTE TO PEOPLE WHO'VE ORDERED - Sorry for the delay, but the reason Ive not taken payment yet was exactly for this reason (so I could get the process sorted!)... Also might be an idea for me to get belts sold before setting up other things hehehe....

Well guys, the first batch of belts is done!
"MGBelts" now has its own little facebook page (go on, go and "like" it.... you know you want to
![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
) and response has been a bit overwhelming!
The five sets above were already allocated out so ill be contacting the first those patient souls, as well as chasing them of pictures of the belts fitted!

You'd always struggle to colour match that green Nigel, but they do look good! I'm looking forward to seeing more of these coloured belts fitted
