Re: Who`s been Spotted..........
The MGCC used to have a similar flyer available in the past encouraging membership, each member could put their membership number on so it could be traced back. This could be adapted to cover each register as well.

In Larne Northern Ireland a few days ago on the coastal road, exchanged "proper" waves with a Tahiti blue MGF coming the other way, always feels special when that happens!

Seems there were quite a few assorted models of MG's in the local park at our 'Vintage Rally' on Sunday.
Was it anyone from here?

Followed a nice black 03 or 53 tf yesterday (wed 2.10.2013) going south bound on the A3 towards Portsmouth, It was just after the ham barn roundabout, anyone here? They had the roof down, sadly I was in my daily drive, a vw polo so didn't wave, this was about 4:30-4:45ish.

As we're going on a bit of a run this weekend (and just printed off a few T-Bar cards) I was wondering did anything ever come of this?nigelandjo wrote:I'll raise at the next committee meeting. Maybe some form of generic flyer which we can make available to members to print off to pop under windscreen wipers of cars they see.
It is a great way to get new members and raise a bit of local interest.
As a member of the 75 & ZT club, we do a similar thing - our young lad loves 'spotting' nice examples so we can leave a printed 'flyer' under the windscreen wiper.

A barbie pink F heading southbound on the M3 this evening! It didn't look half as bad as it sounds - there can't be too many like that - bravo madam!

Re: Who`s been Spotted..........
Just spent the last 7 nights down in minehead and saw a number of mgf's and tf's on our days out and about, lovely to see. The other half has decided I am suffering from mg Tourette's now (ooh ooh mg love, look love another one, that's a nice mg love and so on). Sadly I was not allowed to go too near as she reminded me it was both our holidays and even though she loves the mg she didn't want to spend the entire time talking to car owners (perfect holiday me thinks?).

(Hijacking Gary's sign in hehehe).
A screen card would be an ideal way of introducing ourselves and encouraging new contacts, can we do something official about sorting something that could be disturbed to the regions and then onwards and outwards?

Re: Who`s been Spotted..........
Travelling along the A10 in heavy traffic this afternoon, suddenly a dark grey metallic TF appeared alongside me. sadly I couldn't get any details as he or she was in the lane of traffic that was actually moving. I was in the white i10 so attracted no attention whatsoever

British Racing Green MGF with a hard top on - index KD04 something. I'm the idiot who waves from the red Hyundai estate as you approach Barton Le Clay on the Hitchen road.
Do not invert, contents liable to spill.
Re: Who`s been Spotted..........
I followed a silver 'TF' when riding out of the Bridlington scooter rally on my white 1971 Lambretta Sunday morning, then saw a red 'f' coming towards Brid shortly after. A nice start to my journey home!

Then in the car park at work a very tidy red F with a black hard top: N35 XAL.

Re: Who`s been Spotted..........
At the garage a mile up the road from here (being worked on), so I did not get a proper look. Looked like it was Monogram Spectre 2005MY (glass rear window mounted in the highest position), salt and pepper hood. The reason for the discription is that it was on a 2008 reg plate! Not an "MG Motor" TF as it had the usual silver "octo-gone" rear MG badge...

Just completed a 600+ mile round trip to Cornwall and spotted just a single MGF, dark green in the St Austell area around 4pm on Monday.
